| Soldier
We are just soldiers in a war, we fight an enemy called life while we protecto our own. Using bullets of courage, guns of pride. We fight at any time: snow, sleet, rain, hail sunny days, dark nights, and surprise attacks. Through harsh swamps of problems tracking mud and blood in our boots. We run for cover, our friends. Fighting along with fellow soldiers. We hide pray and look to the sky hoping we'll finish without a guilty conscience on our soul for the lives we take the soldiers we help and those we don't. A government who stands behind us, family. Unless we do something wrong in their eyes, then they rise up against us and force us. Thinking they know what it looks like this war we fight. Although each war is different, the guns different and the fight is different. Yet they tell us, as if they held the gun themselves They don't. They ask us to do things, as we fight Though we can only do so much, sooner or later we get shot. Life hits us hard and fast, quicker then we can react. And it hurts like a bitch. So we take cover and taken by medics, our loved ones. They are the only ones who can heal a phantom wound A bullet that leaves no visible hole, They can only heal what can't be seen. And as they heal us, we wonder in that bed. "If an angel is looking out for me?" Maybe it's the soldiers who fight or the captain who leads maybe the government who supported us or the nurse by your side.
Whatever it may be, there is an angel looking out In this war called life.
Fight strong, with valor, with pride. Take your weapon and fight. Not for the government, but for yourself. And your loved ones.

| I know there's a lot goign on in our lives, theres so much between just us. There are things we have to do, things we want to forget, and people we never want to see. And we've done it before, but does it make it the best thing now? Especially since we are so close to each others hearts. The love we share is more than enough for anything, stronger than anything.

| Give me the strength to know what is wrong and right. To know the difference between heaven and hell, and to know the truth and the lies. Forgive me though for my mistakes, and my mishaps as I run this path between the two. I cannot help myself if I sometimes fall, or hurt others in return. But do realize I do these not in spite of you, but for you. And in the end hopefully you'll realize that it does work out in the end. Hopefully you'll see, and forgive me for what I'm about to do. Life has its meanings, more than one. I found a few of them already, I may find more. Sorry for what I'm about on embark on, but it feels like I should. I will hurt those around me, those close to me, and even more everywhere. But I believe it will be better in the end, I really do. Sorry if it hurts, but right now...just right now...
It's my turn.
